EYELID - Photobook and Group Exhibition
"every project, like a journey for me, I can live a part of another person life who I capture their moment"

"Eyelid" is a collection of black and white
Infrared portrait of blind and multiple-disabilities children. The special-need elementary school students that I photographed were between seven and twelve years of age; this wast of the age range in multiple need schools is because of the disability of students and lack of acknowledging of parents. The human being never expects a child with absent of all health when they are growing the family. When the child born with disabilities, the parents just easily have no clue what they should do, what are any single requests that they have to do to be healthy, and they ever could be normal? But this is different for the child itself. He or She has no other point of view or other expectations of life. What they are is who they are. Because of that, they are amazing; they are empty of normality, and this is what makes them unique. Some of them may not have seen the world ever, but they own unique perspective of life that in no other way human can achieve. When I start the photography of them, I was surprised; the interaction was nothing as my expectation. The coordination attitude of students with each other and I was terrific. This project changed my look towards the special-need ones. The fact of need special attention is right, but they are equal human as healthy humans, only live in a parallel universe than us. |
My Eyes The Way You Look - photography in Germany
We had a project between Tehran-Dortmund cities which supported by DAAD.
I was so lucky that I find fantastic friends who helped me to do my project.
Since I can remember, I have always wondered about the connection between two people, the way that they release a smile on each other's face. Their eyes, when they look at every moment of their beloved one's existence. The atmosphere around them when they are together.
Fortunately, I was lucky enough to have these kinds of people as my friends in my life. Hearing stories of how they made their path, hearing their words, go through life in a way they feel it, experience "What is living?" with them. Also, I've seen various types of couples or even more and much more complicated relationship and I've witnesses love between any two people without knowing how to name their relation, is that even important?
If I have only one chance to describe my thoughts about the relation between two people and the feeling that we called LOVE through our evanescence history, I would say that the core of the human being is just amazed when you learn how to respect yourself and through that, how to love your beloved one.
In the end, we are talking about love, the only thing that all the humankind have the same thought e about.

5400
5400 is the kelvin number of the twilight sky. I will always am amazed by how magical the twilight time is; It seems like everything frozen yet still move so slowly in time.
I tried to capture my feeling in this spectator time-zone that happens twice a day; it seems that we do not notice it most of the time. I observe people when they connect with their core and attach the emotions that they not usually detailed. For me, it is like that they try to own the time and remember their willingness in life.
It is a magical moment when the atmosphere moves its colors and merge days and night into each other. I have always been speechless at twilight times. These moments are just epic, the fight between artificial colors and the blue sky. I can not take my eyes off them and stop imagining people story in my head.
Specifically, in this project, I was looking for two or three second more than a brief, I wanted to capture one little act, like a turn, bright eyes when they see their loved ones, a moment of remembering a memory in the amazing twilight time when it feels everything is acting in minimal moves.
